OUR SENIORS
At Eki Zimurrak we cherish our SENIORS, dogs who have given way to new generations after their time in breeding or in the show ring. They now enjoy a peaceful and fulfilling life, surrounded by care and affection.
At times, some of them join selected homes, where they continue to receive the care and respect they deserve, becoming balanced adult companions for families who wish to share their lives with a Shar Pei.

Eki Zimurrak Great Diamond
She is the first multi-champion female born in our home, leaving her mark both in international show rings—where she proudly represented our kennel—and in our breeding program, contributing health, character, and beauty to future generations. Today, she still delights us with the occasional show appearance, while preparing for a calmer stage as one of our great SENIORS, a symbol of the path we have traveled and the future she helped to build.
URSA
Shine´s The Big Dipper
Ursa holds a unique place in our history: she was our first Shar Pei imported from the United States, from the kennel of our friend Rebecca (Shine’s Shar Pei). She became our foundation bitch, the one who made it possible to shape what Eki Zimurrak is today. With her, we not only built the foundations of our breeding program, but we also learned to find our way in the world of dog shows, beginning a journey in which we proudly continue to make our mark today.

Percy llegó a Eki Zimurrak desde Inglaterra, de la mano de Julie Garder (Mijujo’s Kennel) y Joy Bradley, convirtiéndose en un gran macho importado que marcó nuestra historia. She is a powerful horse coat female born in our home, whose true happiness was never in the show ring. When the time came for her retirement, she found her perfect place on the sofa of her family in Burgos, where she enjoys a peaceful and fulfilling life. Beyond her homely nature, she left an indelible mark on our breeding program as the mother of our World Champion, Jar, passing on quality genetics and the spirit of Eki Zimurrak to future generations.

Just The Way You Are Des Chandagueres
Just was our great horse coat addition to the Eki Zimurrak breeding program, bringing genetics and type that strengthened our line. Her greatest legacy can be found in her offspring: she is the mother of Tarquin, a Shar Pei who made history by winning Best of Breed at Crufts, the most prestigious dog show in England. With her, we consolidated the presence of Eki Zimurrak on the international stage, combining health, beauty, and prestige in every generation.
